The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Support Group is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteer members in our community and 100% of your membership fee is used to support the Crescenta Valley Sheriff Station and its deputies. Every year we contact our members by mail and never solicit funds with telemarketers.
The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Support Group helps maintain the important connection between our community and the Sheriff’s Department. We support programs such as STAR, Montrose Search and Rescue, Explorer Scouts, Civilian Volunteers, Reserves, Mounted Posse, Neighborhood Watch, Arson Watch and CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). We raise funds to pay for specialized equipment and other programs necessary for operations at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station.
This year, we are excited to raise funds to purchase a Mobile Command Post. Having a motor home equipped with the necessary tools, equipment and technology that can be deployed on a moment’s notice will significantly help our deputies when they are responding to a catastrophe or prolonged searches.
Our biggest fundraising source is this membership drive. In addition, we host two other fundraising events: A Day at the Races at Santa Anita Racetrack in the spring and a golf tournament in the summer. Be sure to watch for information on these events and join us!
Membership includes a Sheriff’s Support Group window decal, magnet and membership card. Members are also invited to go on a “Ride Along” with a member of the Sheriff’s Department and attend special events held at the station.
Thank you for your time and we hope you decide to renew your membership to the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Support Group.
