The CVSSG’s efforts went a long way toward funding the CV Sheriff’s Station’s $40,000 covered barbecue area. Along with the group’s efforts, Deanna Hammerli, a law enforcement technician, helped with the design and details such as, lacquered wood table with embedded emblems on top, the Sheriff’s Star in the stone in the patio and worked hand in hand with C.V. Tile. Stone Home Center donated the department logo embedded in the cement. Captain Bill Song bought the barbecue himself to finish the project. The project took three years to complete.
Deanna Hammerli said, “My colleagues have been dreaming of a patio area for close to seven years.”
